Laura holds a Bachelors degree in Economics, and has worked with sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship in Atlantic Canada. Specific experience includes research on farm viability with Genuine Progress Index (GPI), policy on farmland biodiversity conservation, documentation of bioregional agricultural skills, startup and operations of cooperative business, and training programs for new entrepreneurs in sustainability. She believes that moving towards sustainability requires a balance of inspired leadership, public awareness and creative development of practical tools and models for a successful future.
